സംഹാരമൂർത്തിയായ
പരമശിവൻ. സാക്ഷാൽ
പരബ്രഹ്‌മ സ്വരൂപമാണ് ഗുരു.
അങ്ങനെയുള്ള പരമഗുരുവിനെ
ഞാൻ നമസ്‌കരിക്കുന്നു.

ഇഷ്ടത്തോടെ കഴിക്കുന്നവനും,
പാർവ്വതീദേവിയുടെ പുത്രനും,
ഭക്തരുടെ സർവ്വ ദുഃഖങ്ങളെയും
നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനുമായ
വിഘ്നേശ്വരന്റെ (ഗണപതിയുടെ)
താമരമലർ പോലുള്ള പാദങ്ങളെ
ഞാൻ വന്ദിക്കുന്നു.
